Self-Doubt

I constantly doubt my abilities!  I doubted myself when I opened my Etsy shop, and whether people would even be interested in my creations.  I doubted myself and my stories when I began creating this blog and kept running into road blocks.  For 16 years I have doubted my abilities as a mother.  My list goes on and on…

But you know what?  If you want or need a change in your life, you have to venture into the unknown.  You have to take a risk, pass or fail, to know whether or not you have what it takes for a better future.  Sometimes things work out for you and other times they don’t.  That’s just the nature of the beast!  Take a chance; you just might be surprised by what you discover along the way!

In what ways do you doubt yourself?

Starting a business takes a vision, commitment, and A LOT of hard work. I have been running my etsy shop for close to a year now, and I work from the time I get up until my head hits the pillow at night. If you are willing to sacrifice, then you have what it takes. The maternal instinct generally takes over, so don’t fret there. What kind of a business are you looking to get into?

What is your delay? You should open up shop today. If you use the link in my sidebar, you can get your first 40 listings for free. An old co-worker of mine was on the fence about starting her shop. I finally convinced her to take the plunge, and she is so glad that she did. She hates that she waited so long to do it. She has been quite successful around town already! I think you should go for it. I have a feeling that you will be quite successful.! The Etsian’s are a wonderful community, and they embrace and encourage one another. I have made some great friends there!
